Producing inside a large series team
Josh was brought on to produce Season 2 coverage of Netflix’s Full Swing at The Players Championship in Florida, after an earlier conflict had prevented him from working on the production sooner.
He worked directly with the executive producers on heavy pre-production — story beats, episode outlines, and the season’s direction. For eight days at The Players, Josh led a crew following Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Joel Dahmen, Collin Morikawa and others. Working alongside the DP, he kept the story beats intact while finding real-time coverage inside the unpredictability of live tournament golf.
That’s what producing inside a large series team looks like: planning, crew leadership, and staying flexible on set.
