The best part of documentary work is getting past the prepared answer. I work on short films, feature documentaries and story-led projects for brands and organizations. The approach starts with the people involved: what matters to them, what we can observe, and what the audience needs to understand.

How we plan it.
We start with the story, access and the people who can tell it. Interviews and observational filming need room for something unexpected, while the production still needs a clear plan. We agree on editorial responsibilities, releases, the edit process and delivery scope before cameras roll. My background also includes client-impact films for law firms, where listening carefully is central to telling the story.
Environmental and community outreach
Work for U.S. EPA projects through Jacobs has included Great Lakes Restoration Initiative videos, public-meeting coverage and Otter Creek restoration films.
